God has uniquely gifted each of us—and Serve Day is your opportunity to use those gifts to be the hands and feet of Jesus in our community.

On Saturday, September 27th from 9:00AM to 12:00PM, Discovery Church will rally together to serve through a variety of community projects happening all across the city. Whether you feel called to work with your hands, bring encouragement through conversation, organize and lead, or simply show up and lend a hand—there’s a place for you.

MAKE AN ETERNAL IMPACT

We believe God has graced each of us with specific talents, passions, and experiences for a reason—and Serve Day is a beautiful opportunity to put them into action.

You’ll have the chance to choose from projects that align with your interests, including:

✅ Outdoor beautification & neighborhood cleanup✅ Light construction, painting, and facility improvement

✅ Encouragement and outreach to families and individuals in need

✅ Assembling care packages and resource kits

✅ Partnering with local organizations already doing amazing work

✅ Family-friendly options for all ages (yes, kids too!)

👥 Whether you’re extroverted or introverted, hands-on or creative, logistical or relational—God wants to use you. Let Him move through your willingness to serve.

What to Expect

We’ll begin the morning by gathering in the Discovery Worship Center at 9:00AM for a time of vision, prayer, and team breakout before heading out into the city to serve.

👕 Serve Day shirts will be available for purchase before projects begin🙏 We’ll come together in unity to pray for our city and the work ahead

📋 You’ll be sent out with your team to your selected project location

🎉 You’ll make new memories, meet new people, and make a difference

WHY WE SERVE

Why We Serve

Jesus clearly showed us what love looks like in action. When we serve others, we serve Him.

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in,
I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me,
I was in prison and you came to visit me.”

When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you?
When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
