Join the Discovery Men's movement of men discipling men towards spiritual maturity and reclaiming their lives, families and communities for the Kingdom of God.
Discovery Men is designed to help YOU maximize your potential as a Kingdom Man for the glory of God and the betterment of others.
Through Discovery Men's Groups and Events, you will:

• Connect with other men in a small group setting for spiritual growth and accountability.
• Come together with other men to serve the ministries of the church and participate in approved community outreach projects.

Fire Groups
We encourage all men to have a small group at Discovery, but Fire Groups are not another group.
Men need stories of the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. Men need laughter.
Men need permission to be and become men. And men need each other.
That’s why Fire Groups were born. To gather as men around the timeless fire and share our life and sharpen each other as Men of God.
What Is A Fire Group?
A Fire Group is an authentic, recurring gathering where men experience God through the stories of other men. All around a fire. Fire Groups exist to foster masculine, God-centered, story- shaped connections. For millennia, men have gathered around flames to share stories, laughter, and moments of masculine initiation.
Guidelines
Fires aren’t religious.
Leave your religious and professional credentials behind. God gets center stage, and his Kingdom sets the agenda— not in any religious way, but on the level of the heart. In the end, there is nothing more valuable for a man than his true heart connecting more deeply with the true heart of God.
Your story matters.
Fires are a space for men to share stories, struggles, dreams, and questions. A place for us to experience God together through the ancient practice of storytelling. We are all students, learning together what becoming wholehearted, mature men means. Teaching is not the point. If a man is inadvertently teaching instead of storytelling, there is permission to invite him to course correct.
No bull allowed.
Fires are a space for authentic masculinity. The mission is to create a soul-safe, nonjudgmental space for all men to be welcomed and honored. It’s essential to lead by example—no posing, hiding, or faking it. All of us will be tempted to pose. Vulnerability, courage, strength, and love are held in the highest regard. Each man has permission to show up exactly as he is—nothing to hide and nothing to prove.
Confidentiality is essential.
What is shared at a Fire stays at a Fire. Fires are a space for us to practice and play at being sons of God in authentic community. The spirit of the Fires is to learn, grow, and practice, becoming sons together. In order to foster that environment, every man’s story is safe among these men and around these flames.

Mentorship
At Discovery, mentorship part of the discipleship process designed for the ongoing support of those serving in ministry leadership. Taken from the example of the Apostle Paul from 1 Timothy 2:2: “And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.”
Within this verse we can see another level of investment that Timothy was to make into those in his church who were reliable (faithful), and able to teach others (lead in ministry).
At Discovery, the discipleship pathway looks like this:

- Step 4: Mentorship
Each of these steps have specific requirements and learning experiences that are essential to your character and Christ-like development.
