OUTPOURING

The Anointing

(1 Corinthians 12:1 NIV) Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be uninformed.

Just because you are _________  doesn’t mean you are _____________.

(1 John 2:20 NIV) But you have an anointing from the Holy One.

(1 John 2:27 NIV) The anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit—just as it has taught you, remain in him.

(Ezekiel 44:10-14 NKJV) “And the Levites who went far from Me, when Israel went astray, who strayed away from Me after their idols, they shall bear their iniquity. Yet they shall be ministers in My sanctuary, as gatekeepers of the house and ministers of the house; they shall slay the burnt offering and the sacrifice for the people, and they shall stand before them to minister to them…And they shall not come near Me to minister to Me as priest, nor come near any of My holy things, nor into the Most Holy Place; but they shall bear their shame and their abominations which they have committed. Nevertheless I will make them keep charge of the temple, for all its work, and for all that has to be done in it.

Priestly Garments

(Exodus 28:2 NIV) Make sacred garments for your brother Aaron to give him dignity and honor.

(Exodus 28:36-37 NIV) “Make a plate of pure gold and engrave on it as on a seal: HOLY TO THE LORD. Fasten a blue cord to it to attach it to the turban; it is to be on the front of the turban.

(Matthew 6:22-23 NIV) “The eye is the lamp of the body. If your eyes are healthy, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness.

(Ephesians 4:17-19 NIV) So I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed.

(Exodus 28:29-30 NIV) “Whenever Aaron enters the Holy Place, he will bear the names of the sons of Israel over his heart on the breastpiece of decision as a continuing memorial before the Lord…Thus Aaron will always bear the means of making decisions for the Israelites over his heart before the Lord.

Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

(Exodus 28:31,33-35 NIV) “Make the robe of the ephod entirely of blue cloth…Make pomegranates of blue, purple and scarlet yarn around the hem of the robe, with gold bells between them. The gold bells and the pomegranates are to alternate around the hem of the robe. Aaron must wear it when he ministers.
