8 YEARS

(Deuteronomy 6:10-12 MSG) When God, your God, ushers you into the land he promised through your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob to give you, you’re going to walk into large, bustling cities you didn’t build, well-furnished houses you didn’t buy, come upon wells you didn’t dig, vineyards and olive orchards you didn’t plant. When you take it all in and settle down, pleased and content, make sure you don’t forget how you got there

(Ephesians 3:20 NIV) God, by His mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of, infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts or hopes.

Deeply Rooted

(Ephesians 3:16-17 CEV) I pray that his Spirit will make you become strong followers and that Christ will live in your hearts because of your faith. Stand firm and be deeply rooted.

(Nehemiah 6:15-16 NIV) So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of Elul, in fifty-two days. When all our enemies heard about this, all the surrounding nations were afraid and lost their self-confidence, because they realized that this work had been done with the help of our God.

  1. It takes ____________. We ____________.

(Ephesians 2:19-22 MSG) God is building a home. He’s using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he’s using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.

2. It takes ____________. We ____________.

(1 Peter 2:5 NIV) You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

3. It takes ______________. We ____________.

(Psalm 112:9 NLT) They share freely and give generously to those in need. Their good deeds will be remembered forever. They will have influence and honor.

4. It takes ____________. We ________________.

(Ephesians 5:15-16 NIV) Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.
