Vision
This vision of Discovery Youth is to Love God, Find Freedom, Love Each Other, and Change the World for Christ! Discovery Youth is the student ministry of Discovery that serves 6th – 12th grade students. Our desire is to create a safe and relevant place for students to engage, learn, and connect with one another. We want to meet students at their level and connect them to mentors who will guide and disciple them in their journey of faith.
SMALL GROUPS
Small Groups meets every Wednesday during the small group season from 6:30pm – 8pm for all 6th – 12th grade students.
We focus on discipleship and building Christ centered community. The way we do this is through grade and gender specific Small Groups that are tailored specific to what each grade is experiencing. We have incredible leaders that facilitate discussion and help build a strong biblical understanding for each student.
EXPERIENCE NIGHTS
Our Experience Nights are from 6:30-8pm during the off season of small groups. These nights we have powerful worship, challenging sermon series, games, and activities for all 6th – 12th grades. These nights sets a tone that encourages students to Love God Passionately.
DY Sermons
It is our goal to see students develop in faith and in community. Our youth curriculum is designed to target the relevant challenges students are facing and provide application on how to grow in their faith journey.
