Leadership at Discovery

Leadership in the church is an honorable pursuit, but we are encouraged in the Scriptures to have a season of preparation and discipleship prior to leadership.

1 Timothy 5:22 says, “Never be in a hurry about appointing a church leader” (NLT).

To help you prepare for the next step in your discipleship journey, we want you to complete two resources prior to attending the Leadership 101 and Discovery School of Emerging Leaders (DSEL). These courses will be taken at your pace, and you will be asked to coordinate with your direct leaders to discuss your learning and development.
