Discovery Church · A Journey Through Acts 10–12
A man stands alone in a vast green field. Above him, the text 'no one is beyond reach' is overlaid on the image with cutouts of the landscape.

Some people feel too far gone, too different, too late. Acts 10–12 tells a different story — one where grace keeps crossing every line we draw.

Teaching through Acts 10–12

Acts 10–12 is the moment the gospel refuses to stay small. A Roman officer nobody expected. A church in a city nobody was watching. A prison nobody escapes. Across three chapters, God keeps reaching past every boundary we trust to keep people out — nationality, reputation, power, fear.

This series is about the long arm of grace: how far God is willing to go, and how no distance is too great for Him to close.

"The reach of grace is not measured by how far you've wandered, but by how far He's willing to come."
The Series

three chapters. one relentless reach.

A walk through Acts 10, 11 & 12

god shows no favoritism
Acts 10

Peter meets Cornelius, and a vision on a rooftop unravels a lifetime of assumptions about who's in and who's out. The gospel was never meant for one kind of person — and God makes sure Peter knows it.

"The lines we draw to keep people out were never God's. His table has more seats than our prejudice allows."

The number '02' in a large, off-white font is centered over a grainy photograph of a green, rolling field beneath a pale, off-white sky.

breaking the box
Acts 11

Back in Jerusalem, Peter has to explain the unexplainable: God moved outside the box. In Antioch an unlikely church is born, and believers are first called Christians. When God breaks our categories, it isn't recklessness — it's mercy.

"God will not be contained by the box of your expectations. Grace keeps breaking out."

The number 03 in a bold, off-white font is centered over a stylized photo of a vibrant green, rolling hill under a pale sky.

god is still in control Acts 12

Herod strikes the church. James is killed. Peter is chained in prison. And then — an angel, a sleeping guard, a door that opens on its own. When the powerful seem to be winning, Acts 12 insists the throne is not theirs.

"When everything feels chained, remember: the story isn't being written by the ones holding the keys."
